The UK-based fishing news newspaper Fishing News gives Regatta Fisherman the ”Safety Award 2008”.

Reagatta received the award in Edinburg ultimo october.
The award is sponsored by Sunderland Marine.
This award recognizes a product, idea or issue specific campaign launched within the previous 24 months that has significantly improved the safety of fishermen in their day to day business.
The winning entry was Regatta Fisherman.

Irish lobsterman saved from drowning by Regatta Fishermen trousers
Irish lobsterman, Jamie Fitzgerald (35), had a very lucky escape at the end of January. He was potting for lobsters near Cork in a choppy sea when his boat capsized and sank, throwing him and his companion into the sea. Read more »
